Fernando Murillo serves as an Executive Managing Director.
Mr. Murillo has over 30 years of experience in corporate real estate across multiple service platforms including Tenant Representation, Portfolio Solutions, Location Strategy, and Agency Leasing. He has build relationships spanning over 20 years with occupiers ranging from foreign governments to regional real estate developers.
Mr. Murillo has represented many notable clients in lease transactions in the greater New York City area such as Xerox (510,000 sf), Fiat Chrysler Automobile (445,000 sf), Alorica (191,000 sf) and Humana (66,000 sf). He has also spearheaded multiple initiatives throughout North America for a BPO client including the consolidation of six office sites housing over 800 employees into a single unit, reducing occupancy costs by 27% and increasing space utilization by 41%.
Fernando has garnered an impressive record implementing end-to-end solutions and successfully executing transactions due to his keen market insight and understanding of his client’s business and real estate needs.
Fernando began his real estate career at Edward S. Gordon and prior to joining MHP, he served as a senior vice president at Cushman & Wakefield, Inc. for twenty years.
Fernando graduated from NYU Stern School of Business with an MBA in accounting and from Syracuse University, Whitman School of Management with a Bachelor of Science in finance and information systems. He serves as the vice chair of the New York Chapter of International Association of Outsourcing Professionals, (“IAOP”) and a board member of the Kiwanis Club of Weston, CT.
